A prized, early-ripening, heirloom variety discovered in New York, Wilder Early Pear has proven to be a good producer in the Northwest. Wilder Early produces abundant crops of large, sweet, and juicy fruit with buttery flesh. Greenish-yellow with a red blush, Wilder Early Pear is very attractive both on the tree and on the table.

Rootstock Description: A dwarfing rootstock for European Pears, OHxF 513 produces trees 10-12 ft. in height.
Pollination Requirements: European Pears need another variety nearby for cross-pollination. Our Asian Pear varieties can also be used as pollinators.
