Lacebark Pine
One of the most ornamental pines in the entire genus, the Lacebark Pine is native to Northern and Central China. As far as stunning bark goes, this one ranks right up there with madrones, crape myrtles, paperbark maples and manzanitas! The flaky bark appears in a variety of different colors and hues, eventually settling to an off white on older sections. It requires a bit patience to grow this one as it’s not the fastest growing, but in about 10 years you’ll be able to start really appreciating the stunning bark on this tree.
