ZESTY. FRAGRANT. HOMEGROWN.
Pawpaws (Asimina triloba) are native to eastern North America! They are one of the most unique fruits that can be grown in the backyard orchard. These are the only member of the Annonaceae, or custard apple family, that is adapted to temperate climates. They require at least two different cultivars for cross pollination and prefer to be planted in groves to mimic their natural environment. Pawpaws are suited to USDA zone 5-8 and reach about 12-15ft in height at maturity.
