Superior Japanese X American Plum Tree

Superior Japanese X American Plum Tree

Our Superior Japanese X American Plum Tree is an exciting introduction from the University of Minnesota. It is a hybrid of a Japanese and American plum tree and its flavor really is superior! This Plum Tree makes an excellent dessert plum. The fruit has a deep-red skin, a yellow flesh, and a unique pointed shape to the fruit. The trees tend to bear heavy crops so be sure you thin the fruit to avoid broken limbs or biennial bearing tendencies.
