Bosc European Pear

Bosc Pear

The unique and very attractive Bosc European Pear is one of our favorite fall pears. Bosc bears abundant crops of golden brown fruit with a distinctive long neck. Sweet, juicy, and very flavorful, Bosc is ready a bit earlier in the season, and offers sweetness while also maintaining a sturdy constitution. This cultivar holds up well during baking, but is also a good choice for those who prefer a firmer bite for fresh eating.
