Sugar Twist Pluerry ™
Sugar Twist Pluerry ™ is one of the newest in interspecific plum cherry hybrids and has intensely sweet flavor. Sugar Twist is unique for its very early harvests, usually around early June and a month earlier than Sweet Treat! Fruit has red skin with amber flesh and the sugar sweet taste of a ripe cherry with the twist of plum you might expect from such a hybrid. Requires around 500 chill hours.

Site and Soil: 1/2 day to full sun and well-drained soil.
Rootstock Description: A semi-dwarf rootstock for Plums and other stone fruits, Citation produces trees 12′-18′ in height or less.
Pollination Requirements: Pollinated by Emerald Beaut plum and most mid to late blooming varieties of Pluot®, Pluerry™ and Japanese plum.

Pests & Diseases: Our plums are not bothered by pests. Bacterial Canker can occasionally damage trunks or branches. Symptoms of this disease are exudations of amber-colored sap. Spraying lime-sulfur or copper in the fall and early spring can help control Bacterial Canker.
