Bashful Rock Rose
A very fragrant Cistus, Bashful Rock Rose belongs to the species Cistus ladanifer and it’s the most fragrant of any in the genus! The leaves are narrow, deep green and resinous and when they heat up in the midday sun or are brushed up against the smell of the oils is intoxicating. Flowers are white with a yellow center and look like floral fried eggs against the dark foliage! Stays very compact, only growing 1-2 feet high by 2-3 feet wide and exceptionally drought tolerant.
