Goumi

Goumi plants are in the Elaeagnus genus and are native to the Russian Far East, China and Japan. They like full to half day sun, well-drained soil and usually begin bearing the 2nd year after planting. They are hardy to -25°F, (USDA Zone 4) and are pest and disease resistant. While Goumi is partially self-fertile, planting two varieties will produce larger crops.
