Welcome to One Green World. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the One Green World website and purchases made through our website, nursery, or other authorized sales channels.

By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing products from One Green World, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to any policies referenced below.

1. About One Green World

One Green World is a plant nursery specializing in fruiting plants, trees, shrubs, vines, and other unique edible and ornamental plants.

2. Products & Plant Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, growing information, hardiness information, availability, sizing, and other product details.

Plants are living products and naturally vary in size, shape, branching, leaf condition, dormancy, appearance, and stage of growth. A plant you receive may therefore differ in appearance from photographs shown on our website.

Growing information, USDA hardiness zones, maturity sizes, pollination information, harvest periods, and similar horticultural information are provided as general guidance. Actual plant performance depends on climate, weather, soil, irrigation, fertility, planting methods, pests, disease, and other growing conditions.

3. Pricing & Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices, promotions, product availability, shipping charges, and other offers may change without notice.

Payment is collected when an order is placed, including preorder purchases.

If a pricing, product-description, or technical error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the error and, when appropriate, contact you regarding the affected order or cancel and refund the affected item.

4. Product Availability

Plant availability is affected by growing conditions, weather, crop performance, nursery production, supplier availability, and other circumstances.

An item shown as available or accepted as a preorder may occasionally become unavailable.

If a plant becomes unavailable after an order is placed, One Green World may refund the unavailable item to the original payment method. When appropriate substitutions are available, we may contact you with alternative options.

5. Preorders

Preorder items are purchased in advance and shipped or made available for pickup when the plants are ready and seasonal conditions are appropriate.

If an order contains at least one preorder plant, the order may be held according to our recommended preorder shipping schedule.

Estimated availability and shipping periods are guidelines and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Customers who need a specific shipping date should contact info@onegreenworld.com. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested dates when plant readiness, weather, and shipping conditions permit.

6. Shipping

One Green World ships within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, subject to product-specific agricultural restrictions and available shipping services.

Shipping schedules vary throughout the year based on weather, destination, plant dormancy, plant readiness, and safe transit conditions.

The shipping service selected at checkout describes estimated carrier transit time and does not include order processing time.

Shipping estimates and the Seasonal Shipping Guide are provided as guidance and do not guarantee a specific shipment or delivery date.

Severe heat, freezing temperatures, storms, carrier disruptions, or other conditions may require us to delay shipment when we believe doing so is necessary to protect the plants.

7. Agricultural & Shipping Restrictions

Certain plants cannot legally or safely be shipped to particular states or destinations because of federal or state agricultural regulations.

Restrictions may apply to citrus, persimmons, Ribes species, and other regulated plants.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping destination. One Green World reserves the right to remove, cancel, or refund an item that cannot legally be shipped to the destination provided.

We do not ship internationally and cannot provide phytosanitary certificates for international shipments.

8. Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

One Green World is not responsible for losses resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address supplied by the customer.

If a package is returned because it could not be delivered to the address provided and the plants are no longer viable, the order is not eligible for a refund or replacement under the One Green World Guarantee.

9. Delivery & Package Security

Customers should monitor tracking information and retrieve plant shipments promptly after delivery.

One Green World is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after carrier tracking confirms delivery.

If a package arrives with visible shipping damage, photograph the packaging and plants and contact us promptly.

10. Local Pickup

Customers selecting local pickup should wait until One Green World confirms that the order is ready before arriving at the nursery.

Preorder plants may not be available for pickup until their applicable seasonal availability period.

Customers should pick up orders within the time specified in their pickup notification. Additional pickup requirements may apply to seasonal and bare-root plants.

11. Inspecting Your Order

Please open and inspect your order promptly after delivery.

Problems involving an incorrect item, shortage, shipping damage, or plant condition present at arrival must be reported to One Green World within 10 days of receipt.

Photographs may be required to evaluate a claim.

Claims involving problems that should reasonably have been identified upon arrival cannot be accepted after the applicable claim period.

12. Plant Guarantee

One Green World guarantees that qualifying plants are correctly labeled and in good living condition upon arrival or pickup, subject to the requirements and exclusions of the One Green World Guarantee.

Potted plants must be inspected and qualifying arrival issues reported with photographs within the applicable claim period.

Bare-root plants are guaranteed to break dormancy during the first spring after planting, subject to the requirements of the One Green World Guarantee. Bare-root dormancy claims must be submitted with the required information and photographs by July 1 of the same season purchased.

Approved claims may qualify for a one-time replacement or store credit, subject to product availability and the complete Guarantee terms.

13. Growing Conditions

Once plants are established in a customer’s care, their health and performance can be affected by conditions outside One Green World’s control, including:

• Weather and extreme temperatures
• Soil conditions
• Watering and irrigation
• Fertility
• Planting methods
• Pests and disease
• Local climate
• Animal or wildlife damage
• Customer care and maintenance

For these reasons, we cannot guarantee that a plant will ultimately survive, thrive, produce fruit, or perform in a particular location except as expressly provided in the One Green World Guarantee.

14. Seasonal Guarantee Limitations

Plants shipped during fall or winter to colder regions may be subject to additional guarantee limitations because they may not have sufficient time to harden off or establish before winter.

Plants shipped earlier than One Green World’s recommended preorder shipping timeframe at the customer’s request may also have limited or no guarantee coverage depending on the shipping method.

Customers should review the Seasonal Shipping Guide and One Green World Guarantee before requesting shipment outside the recommended timeframe.

15. Order Changes & Cancellations

Changes and cancellations may be requested before an order ships.

If an order has already been packed for shipment, a $20 unboxing and restocking fee may apply.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

16. Returns, Refunds & Store Credit

Because plants are living and perishable products, special conditions apply to returns, refunds, replacements, and store credit.

Qualifying plant claims may be resolved through replacement or store credit as provided by the One Green World Guarantee.

Availability-related cancellations may be refunded to the original payment method.

17. Final Sale Items

Products identified as final sale, including Garage Sale items, are not eligible for coverage under the One Green World Guarantee unless otherwise expressly stated.

Additional exclusions may be displayed on individual product pages or at the time of purchase.

18. Website Accounts

Customers may be able to create an account to manage orders and other website features.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

19. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website or interfere with its normal operation.

You may not use the website to engage in unlawful activity, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, introduce malicious software, scrape or harvest information through unauthorized automated means, impersonate another person, or interfere with another customer’s use of the website.

We reserve the right to restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect our website, customers, business, or systems.

20. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content created or owned by One Green World—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, educational materials, Growing Guides, page designs, and other original content—is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit One Green World-owned content without permission, except where otherwise permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, photographs, content, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

21. Third-Party Services & Links

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, shipping carriers, mapping services, embedded content, and other service providers.

Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. One Green World does not control third-party websites merely because our website links to them.

22. Privacy

Information collected through our website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

23. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except for the express promises contained in the One Green World Guarantee or as otherwise required by applicable law, products, website content, horticultural information, and services are provided without additional warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, One Green World will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our website, products, or services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

25. Force Majeure

One Green World is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events reasonably beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, wildfires, freezes, heat events, carrier disruptions, labor disruptions, government actions, agricultural quarantines, supply interruptions, or similar events.

When such circumstances affect plant shipments, we may delay shipment until conditions are reasonably suitable.

26. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or remedies available to a consumer under laws that cannot legally be waived.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our business practices, website, products, services, or legal requirements.

When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Changes apply prospectively from the date they become effective unless otherwise required by law.
