Squiggly Tea Tree

A great cold hardy tea tree selection from Xera Plants. We grow Squiggly Tea Tree at our cold East Portland location, and it’s comfortable throughout even our most severe winter storms. In spring and through early summer it produces tons of cheerful little white flowers. A great one for tight spaces! This plant will mature to 5’x2-3″ wide and id easily shaped by pruning. You can achieve an almost formal boxwood look with this one, or let it grow a bit more on the wild side. Either way it’s a great cold hardy evergreen plant.

Site and Soil: Well draining unamended soils in full all day sun.
Hardiness: Hardy to about 5 F.

Bloom Time: Early summer.
