Red False Yucca

A lovely and tough yucca relative from the Southwest into Mexico, the Red False Yucca is super drought tolerant, though excepting of summer water, architectural and has a look somewhere between a grass and a yucca. Closely related to the yuccas and agaves but a separate genus these will bloom every year with bright neon red to pink flowers that delight the hummingbirds. Very easy to grow in almost any well draining soils in full sun and also surprisingly hardy, all the way down to -20F!
