If you’re looking for that classic manzanita look with the sexy peeling purple bark and contorted muscular trunks then Louis Edmunds Manzanita is the one for you! One of our favorite West Coast native shrubs for hot spots with little to no water. Flowers are vividly pink and light up the garden in late winter before transforming into small russet red apple-shaped fruits that are beloved by wildlife. Looks excellent interplanted with Ceanothus!
