Honeysweet Pear is a unique, disease-resistant variety bears bumper crops of sweet, delicious pears with buttery and delightfully aromatic flesh. A great choice for those with limited space, as this is one of the rare few partially self-pollinating pear varieties. The Honeysweet Pear Tree is similar to the classic Seckel variety but larger, great for fresh eating and preserving, and also stores well.

Site and Soil:Â European Pears like full to 1/2 day sun and well-drained soil.
Rootstock Description:Â A dwarfing rootstock for European Pears, OHxF 513 produces trees 10-12 ft. in height.
Pollination Requirements: Partially self-fertile. European Pears need another variety nearby for cross-pollination. Our Asian Pear varieties can also be used as pollinators.
Hardiness: European Pears are hardy to minus 25° F. or below.
