A newish selection of Japanese Honeyberry and one that is very late ripening and maximizes the early summer sun for maximum sweetness. Fruits ripen at the very end of June or early July depending on the weather and bear great crops of large, rounded fruits that are somewhat heart shaped. A great choice for fresh eating as well as for juicing.

Yields are so large that this variety amongst many others is being utilized as a commercial crop in Canada.
Aurora is quickly becoming the standard for fresh eating honeyberries. While not as deeply pigmented or nutritious as other varieties, it has a higher sugar content and larger berry size than most varieties. Aurora honeyberries ripen mid to late season and flower late.
