An apricot, plum hybrid that is more towards the apricot side of the spectrum. Leah Cot produces very large fruits that are deep orange inside and out and taste like an apricot with just a hint of plum flavor and larger size.
One of our favorite pluots, Flavor Grenade produces elongated green fruits with a red blush that are the size of a Japanese plum. The texture is crisp and the flavor is extreme! Fruits on hang on the tree for 4-6 weeks, an incredibly long time for a plum or apricot.
One of the best tasting pluots and a frequent taste test winner, Dapple Dandy Pluot gets its name from the beautiful red dappled spots that appear on its greenish-yellow skin. Fruits are freestone and the flesh is a spectrum of red to pink from the outside in with a glorious plum-apricot flavor.
Flavorella Plumcot looks like an apricot with its slightly pubescent yellow flesh but is the size of a plum! The clingstone fruits are incredibly aromatic, and the firm yellow, super sweet flesh and tangy skin combine the best flavors of apricots and plums.

This little known loquat was selected by Jim Neitzel of Big Jim Loquat fame and is valued for its pure white flesh and extremely high sugar content. Sugar Crisp has won many a taste test and is sure to become a popular variety. Performs very well in California but we are still trialing it here in the Northwest.
An extremely delicious and early ripening loquat variety that is widely grown in parts of Europe. Argelino produces orange fruits with a lot of sugar but nice tang to balance them out. We haven’t found Argelino to be the most reliable producer here in the Pacific Northwest, but it is certainly a valuable cultivar, especially in milder parts of the country.
Likely the most dwarfing of all named Loquat varieties, the Advance Loquat Tree was selected in the late 1800’s for its small stature and deliciously sweet fruits. Fruits are pear shaped with a juicy white interior. A great choice for small spaces, though it does require another variety for cross pollination.
Bella Gold Peacotum is a very new exciting fruit type from Zaiger Hybrids. A cross of peach, apricot, and plum that has the best qualities of all of its parents.
A unique plumcot selection from Salem, OR, Sultry Sunset Plumcot produces abundant crops of plumcots with the color of a deep New Mexican sunset on their pinkish orange skin and deep red flesh!
