This locally produced documentary film celebrates Oregon’s long history of groundbreaking conservation efforts. From the first Beach Bill in 1913 to the passage of Senate Bill 100 in 1973, Oregon has led the nation in protecting its coastline and agricultural and forest lands. This fascinating film features archival footage and interviews with many of the farsighted and dedicated individuals who helped create Oregon’s land use planning program and defend it over the past 50 years. Agriculture is the second largest sector in Oregon’s economy and its diverse crops help feed the world.
