I-258, short for Italian 258, is an outstanding fig selected out of a number of varieties brought from Italy to the United States in the 1980’s. I-258 is beloved by collectors and growers for being extremely productive, incredibly delicious, early ripening and easy to grow.
An especially dark skinned fig with beautiful deep red flesh and amazing flavor, consistently rated as one of the best tasting dark figs. Galicia Negra can sometimes be shy to bear in the first few years but then becomes a very productive tree.
An easy to grow fig tree and one of the best for dried figs, Kadota produces beautiful yellow/green skinned figs with an amber flesh. Fruits are incredibly sweet but require a long hot season for best quality, so best grown in warmer interior regions or in particularly hot microclimates in areas like the Pacific Northwest.
A delicious fig that ripens its main crop earlier than almost any other variety! Red Lebanese produces figs that are fairly small, but its part of what makes it so delicious to us is the flavor and texture of the skin balancing perfectly with the sweet flesh.

Taste is a bright juicy strawberry flavor that is quite rich and the pulp on this fig is a delicious deep raspberry red. Figs are quite large and resist splitting well in early fall rains. We’ve been very impressed with its productivity here and it seems to perform and taste better in areas with dry summers, so a real winner for Northwest fig growers!
