Easily the hairiest manzanita we’ve ever seen and it makes for a great texture in the dry garden. Provide very good drainage and airflow for this one.

Latin Name: Arctostaphylos viridissima
Site and Soil: Well draining unamended soils in full sun
Hardiness: Hardy to about 15 F.
Size at Maturity: 4′ x 6′ for us so far but the species can grow into a tree. This one seems more mounding.
Bloom Time: Late winter into spring
