Turkey Oak
The Turkey oak is an easy to grow and sturdy deciduous oak tree from southern Europe that grows to be a magnificent and long lived oak tree. Very adaptable but particularly well suited for the West Coast as it is quite drought tolerant.

Pests & Diseases: Oaks are susceptible to Sudden Oak Death, a fungal disease that can kill entire stands of oaks, though we’ve not seen it yet in our area
