Sausage Vine
The favorite evergreen vine of Portland’s new soccer team, the Portland Bangers! Sausage Vine, or Holboellia angustifolia, is easy to grow in sun to part shade and produces interesting fruits that resemble sausages, sort of, and are similar in taste to Akebia, which is in the same family. Best if given some afternoon shade. Go Bangers!
