Yet another valuable introduction from Dr. Gregory Levin, Salavatski pomegranate is one of the most cold hardy pomegranates, surviving temperatures below 0° F. Fruits are as large as Wonderful with an orange red skin and hard seeds.

Site and Soil: Salavatski likes full to 1/2 day sun and well-drained soil.
Pollination Requirements: Self-fertile.
Hardiness: Hardy to 5º F or below.
Bearing Age: 1-2 years after planting
Size at Maturity: Can reach up 10-12 ft. in height.
