Glencoe Purple Raspberry
A great choice for the home garden, Glencoe is a delicious purple raspberry that stays more compact and is possible to grow in containers or small garden beds. It is an everbearing variety so easy to manage if you want to cut canes back completely in the fall, or leave the previous season’s canes to get the early summer crop and then the fall crop on the new growth.
Primocane:
Primocane fruiting raspberries, commonly called Everbearing raspberries, produce flowers and fruit on first year canes. Primocane varieties will produce a moderate crop in June and a much larger crop from late August until frost. Primocane varieties can be mowed to the ground after harvest and require less trellising than June bearing varieties.
