$39.95

A rarely seen red fleshed apple, at least in the United States, that is one of the best for fresh eating, having a very sweet and juicy flesh for a red fleshed apple. Fruits range from tart at the beginning of their ripening to sweet with a slight raspberry flavor. We love this one for how easy it is to grow, having little to no disease issues and the fruits are typically unblemished as well.

Devonshire Crimson Queen Red Flesh Apple Tree

A rarely seen red fleshed apple, at least in the United States, that is one of the best for fresh eating, having a very sweet and juicy flesh for a red fleshed apple. Fruits range from tart at the beginning of their ripening to sweet with a slight raspberry flavor. We love this one for how easy it is to grow, having little to no disease issues and the fruits are typically unblemished as well. Devonshire Crimson Queen is early ripening, starting in August and peaking in September, and the apples store very well for a red fleshed apple. Our original scion came from Queener Farm in Scio, Oregon.
