Neighbor Dan’s Treeanothus Ceanothus
Unfortunately the tag for this one got lost long ago, but we do know that it is a Cistus Nursery collection that Sean selected for it’s apical dominance and large mature form. We planted this one at our old neighbor Dan’s house on a baking hot south facing fence on the edge of a Doug Fir drip line and it has grown to monster “tree-anothus” proportions over the last 6 years. A great native Ceanothus for adding some height to the garden, and can be planted in mass for a quick growing and beautiful evergreen hedge.
