Point Arena Manzanita

$15.95

An interesting hybrid manzanita from Point Arena, California that has quickly become our favorite groundcover Arctostaphylos for its fuzzy leaves, ability to suppress weeds, and the interesting almost Sempervivum-like pattern of its foliage. We were first turned on to this interesting hybrid by Sean Hogan of Cistus Nursery who shared plants with us before we were able to go see this beauty in the wild.

We were first turned on to this interesting hybrid by Sean Hogan of Cistus Nursery who shared plants with us before we were able to go see this beauty in the wild. Spreads to form a very large carpet which trails over the edges of the cliffs in Point Arena. Beautiful! This is a very coastal selection so some afternoon sun protection seems to help it, but it will tolerate full sun.
