Variegated Italian Buckthorn
An extremely handsome and easy to grow shrub from the Mediterranean, the Variegated Italian Buckthorn sports a fine variegation on gorgeous mahogany colored stems. Very drought tolerant and not needing any supplemental water after the first year, it will grow at a very quick rate and makes an excellent screening plant where privacy is needed in short order. Also makes great cut foliage and works well around the holiday times with its green and red tones and generally convivial spirit.
