This hard to find hop (Sorachi Ace) was developed in Japan by Sapporo in 1984 and is very similar to hops used in German pilsners. In fact, it is a cross between Saaz, Brewer’s Gold, and Beikei No.2 Male making it a cult follower for many craft brewers.
