Seascape Olive Tree ™
Another olive from the Nikita Botanic Garden in Yalta, Ukraine, Seascape Olive Tree ™ is an early ripening cultivar that also makes very large, tasty olives. Seascape has also proven quite cold hardy and has made it through our recent harsh winter weather events without injury.
Latin Name: Olea europea
Site and Soil: Olives like a warm, protected location with 1/2 day to full sun and well drained soil.
Pollination Requirements: We recommend planting Seascape™ with another variety as we are not sure about its pollination requirements. Olives are wind pollinated and should be planted no more than 20 ft. apart. You can assist pollination by moving pollen from flower to flower with a small brush.
Hardiness: Seascape™ should be hardy to 10F. or below.
