Poorinda Leanne Grevillea
Perhaps the easiest of any Grevillea to grow in our climate, Poorinda Leanne Grevillea is a spectacular cross between the lower growing Grevillea juniperiana and the always gorgeous Grevillea victoriae. Leaves are a silvery green above and bright silver beneath! The apricot colored frilly flowers hang like Proteaceous spiders from the silvery foliage and are in bloom throughout the year but most heavily in late fall through early spring. Overwintering hummingbirds love grevilleas so much that they often build their nest right inside the bush, keeping their food source just inches from their home!
