Phlomis lanta
A low growing Phlomis species native to Crete, Phlomis lanata grows to only about a foot or two tall and spreads to 2-4′ wide with small fuzzy yellow leaves. This is a great drought tolerant sub shrub that can work as a ground cover in dry parts of the garden.
