Phlomis grandiflora
A lesser seen but very beautiful Phlomis species native to Turkey and some surrounding islands, Phlomis grandiflora has fuzzy silvery white new growth that settles to a nice silvery green. Very drought and heat tolerant and it makes a great weed supressing shrub. An easy one to grow that deserves to be more widely planted. These plants are grown from seed, but they’re quite uniform.
