This unique and very popular French variety, Petite Prune D’Agen was brought to the US over 100 years ago. Petites dark purple fruit is one of the best plums for drying and making prunes. Very sweet and delicious, it is also great for fresh eating.

Latin Name: Prunus x domestica
Site and Soil: Plums like 1/2 day to full sun and well-drained soil.
Rootstock Description: A semi-dwarf rootstock for Plums and other stone fruits, Marianna produces trees 10′-12′ in height or less.
Pollination Requirements: Petite Prune D’Agen is partially self-fertile. Plant with another European variety for best crops.
