Persian Green Plum
Persian Green Plum is a very popular plum in the Middle East and one that we’ve had many requests for, so we’re happy to finally be growing it! Persian Green Plums are native to the mountains of Iran and typically picked when small, green and crunchy and seasoned with salt to bring out their unique flavor or cooked into many different dishes.

Site and Soil: Plums like 1/2 day to full sun and well-drained soil.

Pests & Diseases: Our plums are not bothered by pests. Bacterial Canker can occasionally damage trunks or branches. Symptoms of this disease are exudations of amber-colored sap. Spraying lime-sulfur or copper in the fall and early spring can help control Bacterial Canker.
