Latin Name: Camellia sinensis
Site and Soil: Tea can grow in full sun in cool areas but prefers partial shade in hot regions. Tea likes rich, well-drained, acidic soil.
Hardiness: Tea is hardy to about 10° F.
Bearing Age: 1-2 years before significant harvest
Size at Maturity: 8-10 ft. in height and width.
Bloom Time: September-November
Pests & Diseases: We have not observed pest or disease damage on our Tea plants.
