Gotu Kola is a highly regarded and not often available herb from the parsley family. It is widely used in India and grows in parts of the Himalayas where the original yogis use it to improve meditation. It is used both in culinary dishes as well as herbal preparations and your closest herbalist friend can no doubt wax poetic about its many properties, uses and virtues. Not fully frost hardy, being killed when temperatures drop below 25 F. but can easily be taken inside for the winter and brought back out when temperatures warm in spring.
