Gamaret Wine Grape

$19.95

An interesting hybrid wine grape selected in Switzerland in 1970 by crossing Gamay Noir with Reichensteiner at the viticultural research station in Pully. Gamaret ripens its grapes early in the season and has excellent disease resistance, making it a good choice for cool wet climates where varieties like Pinot Noir and Gamay might prove difficult to grow.
