Eight Ball Pomegranate
An interesting little pomegranate that was selected by Plant Delights Nursery for its compact habit and extremely dark nearly black fruit, hence the name. The Eight Ball pomegranate is so loaded with anthocyanins that even the cambium is purple, something we had never seen before. Easy to grow and very productive, and if given enough heat and water will ripen even in northern climates. Reportedly hardy to -9º F on the East Coast.
