Jerusalem Sage ‘Edward Bowles’, Phlomis x fruticosa
Jerusalem Sage ‘Edward Bowles’, also known as Phlomis, is one of our favorite drought tolerant flowering plants. Not only is it a very tough evergreen shrub but the tubular yellow flowers presented on dazzling spikes are some of the most delicious you will ever taste. On a hot summer’s day nothing is better than plucking one of the flowers from its base and slurping down the sweet nectar at the base of the flower! And the bees are as crazy about it as we are!
