Rose Creek Beauty Snap Bush Phaseolus vulgaris
These delicious green beans can be eaten fresh or shelled throughout the summer. When dried, the stunning cream and maroon splashed beans can be used to make excellent bean soups to get you through the winter. We love these multi-use crops that help sustain us all year long! Variety developed by the late bean collector Robert Lobitz. Always a champion of the little guy, and of local communities of his native Minnesota, he liked to name his varieties after nearby localities. It is a early maturing bush bean and is very productive. A favorite snap bean for soups and bean salads.
