Continental Purple Basket Willow is a hardy and vigorous willow that can be used for living willow structures or basket weaving. The stems of Continental Purple are a deep purple to almost black in the winter time with striking catkins that can be used in cut flower arrangements. Coppice it to have a never ending supply of basket willow, let it grow into a large spreading shrub or create living structures by training it into chairs, tunnels, or a living arbor!
