Would you like to learn more about successfully growing berry and fruit trees in your current backyard? Do you already have a beautiful fruit tree collection but would like further guidance on how to continue to help your trees and shrubs thrive?
Then join us at One Green World on March 23rd for a free Workshop, Getting Started with Growing Berries and Fruit Trees, led by Master Gardener and Author Tara Austen Weaver and even have the opportunity of receiving her guidance year round with bringing home your very own copy of her new book, Growing Berries and Fruit Trees in the Pacific Northwest!
There are few things easier and more rewarding in the garden than growing a bit of fruit. Join Tara Austen Weaver, author of Growing Berries and Fruit Trees in the Pacific Northwest (Sasquatch Books), for a beginner guide to getting started. We’ll cover best cultivars for our region, how to gracefully incorporate fruit into an existing landscape, how to grow in containers if you don’t have a yard, and how to preserve your fruit for year-round enjoyment.
TARA AUSTEN WEAVER is a freelance writer, editor, and author of Growing Berries and Fruit Trees in the Pacific Northwest, The Butcher & The Vegetarian, and Orchard House: How a Neglected Garden Taught One Family to Grow.
