With the heat of the summer comes a bounty of fruit. A wonderful way of preserving the summer harvest is through the creation of delicious homemade Fruit Liqueurs!
Join us at One Green World on July 27th and learn how to make your own Berry and Fruit Liqueurs at our workshop led by expert Mixologist and Botanical lover Lydia Parsley.
Liqueur is a preservation method involving alcohol, sweetener, herbs, fruits and spices. Liqueurs will preserve your fruit harvest for years to come and can be added to tasty cocktails or sipped solo. They also make great gifts to allow others to enjoy what you’ve gathered and grown.
The workshop will include a “how to” step-by-step presentation on how to make various fruit liqueurs with a focus on berries and stone fruits, followed by Q&A and a cocktail demonstration with *presentation samples*.
Lydia Parsley has been creating botanically-inspired cocktails for 20 years, teaching them to bartenders in 12 countries, and happily situated in the bountiful PNW for 10 years. She’s a budding biologist and studying law to make positive change in food systems.
