Chernika

From the Caucasus Mountain region in southern Russia, Chernika is a very attractive, small shrub which bears abundant, small, dark blue berries. The nutritious, slightly acid berries are very high in anthocyanins and are good for fresh eating and make delicious preserves. Chernika displays beautiful, carmine fall foliage and grows to about 3 ft. in height.
