A very attractive, evergreen, small tree, Bay Tree produces the true Bay leaf used in gourmet soups and stocks. From ancient times, Bay Tree has been held in high esteem by Europeans and is found in many yards and gardens in Italy, Greece and other Mediterranean countries. Easy to grow in the Pacific Northwest and other regions with mild winters, Bay Tree is slow growing to 10-15 ft. in height. Bay Tree also makes an attractive container plant.
